Biographical Info

Atty. Danny is a CPA-Lawyer and is in key practice areas such as civil litigation, tax litigation and advisory, corporation law, competition law, and arbitration. He is a graduate of University of the Philippines- Diliman with degrees in BS Business Administration and Accountancy and Juris Doctor. Prior to joining the OGCC in 2019, he was part of other government agencies such as the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines (PPP Center) and the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) in various capacities.

As a Government Corporate Attorney, he handles civil, corporate rehabilitation and agrarian reform cases. He is also part of various arbitration teams.

Atty. Danny was part of the team who handled the review of the successful merger between Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) and United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) in 2020. He was also part of the review of the PhP48 Billion Syndicated Loan Facility Agreement between Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), LBP and UCPB in 2020. Atty. Danny also drafted the Counsel’s Opinion for DBP’s USD300 Million foreign bond offering in 2021, DBP’s second foreign bond offering in its history.

Atty. Danny is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Santo Tomas- AMV College of Accountancy where he teaches Taxation and Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting subjects. He is the author of the book “The Law on Income Taxation in the Philippines”, published by Central Book Supply, Inc.

He is also an Accredited Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioner in the field of Arbitration
of the Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR). He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Quezon City Chapter and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
