Atty. Isabelita T. Dañga-Veleña joined the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (OGCC) in September 2022. Through her hard work and exemplary performance, she rose from the ranks and was eventually appointed to Assistant Government Corporate Counsel (AGCC) in May 2025.

Prior to her appointment as AGCC, Atty. Dañga-Veleña was part of the Energy Team and was recognized by various government corporations serviced by the team. She also served as a cross-team member of the Water Team.

In December 2023, Atty. Dañga-Velena received the Gantimpala Agad Award from both Cadiz City Water District, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental and from the Pinamungajan Water District, Pinamungajan, Cebu. She was also a Loyalty Awardee for twenty (20) years of service in the OGCC in December 2022, and a recipient of Merit for Exemplary Performance in 2014. Atty. Dañga-Veleña also received commendations from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) and then RPN-9 for a job well done in prosecuting their case.

Before joining the OGCC, Atty. Dañga-Veleña worked with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and Commission on Audit (COA).
