Atty. Jonathan C. Nicolas is an Assistant Government Corporate Counsel (AGCC) at the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (OGCC). Through his leadership, his team provides legal advise, handles cases and renders contract reviews and opinions for Government -Owned and -Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) under the Ecozones Team.

Before his promotion as AGCC, Atty. Nicolas consistently garnered recognition for his distinctive public service such as “Best in Legal Opinion” (2016, 2018, 2019, 2021), “Best in Contract Review” (2018, 2020), “Best Pleader” (2020, 2021), and “Commendable/Exemplary Behavior Award” (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021). In 2023, he was given the “Significant and Major Case Award” and “Gantimpala Agad Award” after being commended by several client GOCCs such as, but not limited to, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
