The Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (OGCC) received a Special Citation (Partner Government Agency) from the Social Security System (SSS) during its Balikat ng Bayan (BNB) Awards ceremony held on 17 September 2025 in Cebu City.

As part of its 68th Anniversary celebrations, SSS presented BNB Awards to its outstanding partners from both the government and private sectors that provide social security protection to all Filipino workers, members, pensioners, and their beneficiaries.

SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph Montes De Claro and members of the Social Security Commission handed the Special Citation to Assistant Government Corporate Counsel Manuel F. Santos, Jr., who accepted the award on behalf of the OGCC.

This Special Citation is a testament to the enduring partnership of SSS and the OGCC, united on the common goal of effective public service.
